Community Immersion
Community immersion is equivalent to CHN Intensive Practicum and is part of GCIC's Community Outreach Program. It is a very creative and responsive outreach partnership of the school with local government unit headed by the mayor, barangay leaders as well as the DOH personnel and its adopted community.
It aims to provide the students the opportunities to understand the social, economic, political, and cultural reality as bases for relevant and holistic educational system and to undertake programs that are multi-disciplinary, environment sensitive, and gender balanced through consultative and participatory process.
