Emc4: Empowering Mentors for Career Competitiveness and Collaboration with the Community

Metrobank’s  Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators  (NOTED) in partnership with the Global City Innovative College (GCIC) will host a by-invitation seminar entitled “E=MC4: Empowering Mentors for Career Competitiveness and Collaboration with the Community” on Friday, December 4, 200, at the Multipurpose Hall of GCIC, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

The morning session will be having high school students who are graduating top of their class, as well as those who are inclined toward the teaching profession.  These student participants will be inspired by the Metrobank Outstanding Teachers of the Philippines on the joys and gifts of teaching, career pathways, and the fulfillment they have as pillars of the society.

The afternoon session will be a roundtable discussion with the principals and the Metrobank Outstanding Teachers of the Philippines.  The awardees will discuss how they were discovered, nurtured and supported by their respective school principals and school communities to receive their award and recognition.  The session ultimately aims to encourage high school educators to join the Metrobank Annual Search and strengthen the cognizance of their roles in influencing the youth.

Mr. Aniceto Sobrepena, President of the Metrobank Foundation will give the inspirational message.  Other speakers will include Division City Supt. Florencia  Domingo of Mandaluyong,City and  Supt. Elena Ruiz of Makati City.  Public and private schools within Pasay, Taguig, Pateros, Makati, Mandaluyong, and Pasig have been extended invitations to enjoin this auspicious gathering of academicians.

Metrobank Teacher Awardees who will be present also include : Dr. Felicidad Pado Dr. Elena Cutiongco of the University of the Philippines; Ms. Evelyn Caja and Ms. Olive Calingo of Ramon Magsaysay High School; Ms. Jojie Calamlam of the Philippine Normal University;  Mr. Arthur Casanova of Brent International; Dr. Leodovico Lacsamana of the University of Asia and the Pacific; Ms. Isabel Soriano of John Robert Powers International; Mr. Allan Canonigo  of the Ateneo De Manila University; Ms. Julie Capulong of P. Gomez Elementary School; Ms. Rowena Hibanada of Muntinlupa High School; and Dr. Teresita Pedrajas of the Global City Innovative College. 

Certificates of participation and partnership will be issued to the attendees.
